Vijay- TV serial synopsis Mahadev is a Tamil mythological show telecasted on Star Vijay which details the legend of Lord Shiva as per the Hindu Puran texts prescribed in Hindu mythology. The first episode began with Parvati dreaming about Shiva. It was aborted with 40 seasons and ran for one season. The people were angry with the channel why they had ended the show. Even earlier too, one more show 'Shivam' was aborted. R Balachandran, Head of Star Vijay Television, was then helpful in telecasting some dubbed version of Hindi and Bengali TV series.

Mahadev got telecasted with Seethaiyin Raman. Mahadev was being telecasted in the morning which was a drama series on Lord Shiva. It is all about the relationship between Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti and how their relationship moulds the world. Yogesh conceived the artwork and graphics works were performed by Sathish. Abhay Simha wrote the story and screenplay. Angeera was the creative director. Shurthika was the Creative Head of the show.

Lip Ling studio performed the dubbing of the serial. Dev composed music. Deepak was the director.The sound was by Deepak. Episode producer was Vinayak. Sangeetha S essayed the role of Sati. The other cast included Vinay Gowda, Sangeetha, Priyanka, Keeti Baanu, Veena Honnappa, Arun Murthy, Aryan Raj and Rajesha and others.
